Heres how you do it. Take out fuel pump. Once that is out you will see the sensor to the right as you look at the bottom of the tank. if you use a small mirror, you see a white lever. Push that lever towards the top of the tank and at the same time, push the assembly towards the top of the tank. Took me a couple of tries and finally got it out. I would press the starter and it would click, lights would stay on and nothing would happen. I either pumped the switch or held it and it would start. Finally figured out it was the solenoid, so replaced that and it was all good. .
